Situated in a 98 acre mixed forest and cinnamon plantation, the Resort’s twin chalet suite comes with sun decks, expansive natural rock pool and offer sweeping views over the mountain range which borders Sinharaja Rainforest and the stunning birdlife. Raised up on stilts over a natural spring water stream and with floor to ceiling glass walls and bamboo thatched ceilings resembling cinnamon quills gives added character to this eco-sensitive design of the chalet. The place has an extraordinary peaceful atmosphere, with starry skies, no passing traffic and off-grid that is ideal for get-away-from-it-all couple or family. Come experience the transformative power of nature at our rainforest resort, where tranquility takes on a whole new meaning.
Guests are recommended to use 4×4 vehicle to travel to the resort due to terrain challenges. Alternatively, guests could park their vehicles in a resort arranged parking slot and can trek approximately 1 Km to the chalet! Trek is rewarding with beautiful scenery listening to the sounds of the jungle and possibly spotting endemic bird species of Sri Lanka! Please travel light and appropriate footwear. Not recommended for people with mobility issues.

This is a “Off-Grid” property with minimal cellular coverage due to its unique location. Guests should be prepared to transform themselves to staying ‘independently’ from the system and reconnecting to nature and instead of being dependent on the usual infrastructures of urban living.
For those who need urgent cellular connectivity, there are few pockets of 4G connectivity in the land where they can access the ‘system’.
